about

Same closet, same cracked computer screen. We started from scratch with this one. Started with a group meditation before the writing process and honestly it seemed like the words were already there, just waiting to be plucked from the air. In production our engineer, also lead guitarist, was a bit experimental with the EQs and somehow ended up with this masterpiece.

lyrics

people keep asking what i want, they all keep thinking im gonna run
back to the hole i crawled out from
i lie awake in my bed, playing fake scenarios in my head
if theyd only come true, theyd all contain you
i hold these memories, deep down inside of me
but they always return
and i know its true, i tried to find purpose in you
but can you really blame me, for creating what you see
is this what ive waited for, crawling on my knees up to your door
this time no ones there to answer me
will someone please help me breathe, soothe my voice so i can scream
medicate me till i fall asleep
youre a train that ran off the tracks, red stained hands caught in the act of feeding your greedy mouth
dont even start with me, your beauty is only skin deep
youre a puzzle missing one piece and that piece will always be me
im the rest youll never get, the thought that never leaves your head
just symptoms from the medicine
the disease that you cant catch, im the itch that you cant scratch
always crawling deep within, can you feel me underneath your skin
hide it all, cover up the crime, tell another person youre fine
its time you threw up cause youre full of yourself
you just fuck things up then blame it on someone else
and i get it, its a shame but there was a time when you knew my name
before i had all these panic attacks, this is what you paid for kick back relax, cover up my tracks and go
i could break away, make a change
i could run away and vacate this space
so tell me when and tell me where and ill find you out there
and get you alone
can you hear me through these paper thin walls ive built to keep you in
that youll tear through again
take a look at where im at, its almost in the bag
just a little closer to finally finish last and thats not bad, i wouldnt take one thing back
(i wont tell you that its not your fault, draw your taro and shoot your stars)
